This unique vehicle was donated to our project by Tom Tucker, CEO of EZ-Red batteries in Deposit, NY. This is the second vehicle for the team, the first being a scatch built 3 wheeler. We have done extensive modifications to the original vehicle since we recieved it in the Fall of 1997. We removed the wooden truck bed and modified the battery box to fit the new batteries. We took the vehicle to the 1998 Tour de Sol but were not able to complete most of the course due to problems with our old charger(Zivan K2). |
