4/6/08 Now that the motor is in the car and i have brakes that work, i decided to go for a spin
around the block. So i grabbed my jumper cables and the marine battery out of my boat..... I think
i could have walked faster but i still got a kick out of it.

5/14/08 It is starting to look liike a car! The fenders are on. The potbox is in and hooked to the
pedal.
I was able t make a tach sensor using a hall effect sensor from Digi-Key and some magnets. In
neutral with 12v my motor spins 1600RPM.
Last night i started buliding the rear battery box.

8/6/09 batteries are due to ship from china next week

10/10/09 Batteries have arrived, charger has been ordered. Car is primered and almost ready for
painT

9/1/10 After a long delay I have painted the Midget. All batteries and charger is in. This car is a
little rocket! I still need a few small parts for the car to finish assembly, but will soon be on the
road.

6/10/11 I now have temp tags on the car and have been driving to work for a week. To register as
an EV in CO I have to get a VIN verification, get the car weight, and bring all of my conversion
receipts to the DMV. The car has been preforming as well as expected except that the Zilla is
overheating and limiting my power for the last few miles of my trip from work. This week I will get
the water cooling hooked up to the controller. I am having to carefully monitor the end of charge
to not overcharge any of my batteries.

8/15/11 I have 500 ev miles on the car with no powertrain problems. Went to replace front brakes
and found entire front suspension is in bad shape. Car is down until suspension can be rebuilt.

5/17/12 I have recently installed a BMS to fully automate the charge cycle and keep my pack
safe. The MG now has about 3000 EV miles and has required no major maintence on any of the
EV components.
