The car was purchased in October 2006 with a blown gasoline engine. California requires a smog inspection in order to transfer title of a vehicle. I had to get both a Highway Patrol VIN inspection and a BAR referee (smog) inspection in order for the Calif. DMV to register the electric conversion without a smog check. I SOLD this EV in December 2008. |
