Controller | Greentime Greentime 80 amp controller with 24-4110 fets. Was originally a 72v controller but was modified for over 100V operation by replacing the linear low voltage section with a 150v rated switching unit. Controller is probably capable of 100 amp by reducing the shunt as it only gets slightly warm. Not bad for a $100 controller. | ||
Batteries | 9 Turnigy 8S 25C 5.8ah packs, 3.70 Volt, Lithium-Polymer Room for a 1kwh pack in front, 1/2 kwh in the back. Total of 1.5kwh (24S3P - 17.4ah)from 9 packs of Turnigy 5.8ah 8S 25C, about $100 per pack. The cells are rated for 25C continuous, 35C short term, so over 400 amp continuous but I cannot find a motor/controller combo that will handle this power and look good on a mtb. Fresh pack maintains over 92 volts at 75 amps 6.9KW | ||
