Originally this 47th TEVan was sold to Niagra Mohawk in upstate New York. It was sold at auction and made it's way to California where I purchased it on 08-06-2011 and brought it to Glendale, Arizona. 21-10-2011: It goes on the charger at 9:00 Pm tonight.. with it's 18+ year old batteries. it's alive! 04-01-2012: Turned over 6850 miles this evening. Haven't found why it wants to regen in High gear as soon as the accelerator is released, that really hurts the range. 04-15-2012: Ran the quarter mile at Southwest International Raceway in Tucson and came within .1 second and .05 Mph of tyeing the record for SP/C. The record is 27.525 @ 50.44. I ran 27.622 @ 50.40 on 19 year old batteries no less! |
