Inaugurated into Elecric service on Earth Day, 2002. Pretty much a straight ElectroAutomotive conversion (thanks Mike and Shari!) with the exception of the rear battery rack. Lots of father/daughter fun in construction. We spent some money on paint, stereo, and replaced all brakes, bearings, balljoints, in the hopes of getting another 100k out of this vehicle. Can be found driving between Tucson high schools and hospitals playing Jefferson Airplane and Grateful Dead LOUD. |
