Conversion Time | two months - since I already have everything, most of my time will be fabricating new adapters and battery boxes.
Conversion Cost | Less than the last one since I know where to avoid mistakes (maybe) - $10k
Additional Features | I hope to use some solar to recharge at work. I plan to insulate the battery boxes and add a way to heat the batteries for winter driving.
This is my second conversion. My Fiero was sacrificed to make way for this project, but was a great learning experience 10/4/2009 - GOT-EV is alive. The batteries sat for a long time between taking apat the Fiero and converting the Tracker. I have made a few short trips around the neighborhood and they are getting stronger. Got my new EV grin on! |
