We converted this retired lawn mower to electric in about 3 days. We acquired the mower donor on one of our favorite shopping days of the month (Bulky Trash Day). The Golf Cart motor we pulled from a dead golf cart. We used a simple 12v contactor from one of the local auto parts stores to switch the unit on. It charges from 3 solar panels in about a week. We have a video of the mower in operation here: WebPage |
