Our maiden voyage was to a gas station(LOL) to air up the tires and then before I got 2 miles down the road the rear driver side tire came off, almost wiping out the motor. Then had a cable connection come apart on one of the batteries which I repaired at the tire shop(LOL) while they put a new tire on the front and repaired the lugs on the back tire. All in all its been a eventful ordeal but riding around without spending a penny on gas is all worth it. 02-17-09 Drove 17 miles to the DMV today for title change but the vin# was off by one diget so now I have to fight with Iowa or get bond insurance on it. Was able to get a 90 day trip permit though so its legal. Drove it about 9 miles back before the pack died had to limp it along at about 15-20 mph the rest of the way LOL. |
