Additional Features | Custom battery management system incorporated into the charger. Independent balancing resistors (light bulbs) can be switched in across each battery. This is controlled by a microprocessor reading the battery voltages through a custom A/D converter that multiplexes and reads the battery pack at about 4Hz. (Measures every battery 4 times per second) The car also has a trailer hitch and a hybrid trailer controller on board. This allows the driver to control the pusher trailer from the front on the freeway for longer trips. The range with the hybrid trailer is over 300 miles.
