Amazing what you can do with spare parts, and a few freebies. The brakes are very undersized. But it does stop. Has 2 settings. Low power and full out, plus automatic freewheel when no power on. Its fun, extremly quiet, and a head turner. Parts of it are from the electric trike that had to be dismantled before I moved. Seen here: WebPage A bit of creativity went into this. Like how to make a strong enough rear wheel (that's bedframe spokes). And how to make a jackaxle (pedal asym off a old 20" bike). And some the frame stiffener under the scoot (store display). Happy Building, and EVing. |
