This car sat in a garage for 20 years. I replaced all the batteries and battery cables. Installed a new master cylinder and brake lines. New wheel cylinders and brake pads. Replaced the first speed resistor and she Passed a PA Inspection! It's been a lot of fun. I thought about converting it to an ac controller and motor, but the original contact towers are in great shape. The ABS plastic body is in wonderful condition considering it is 36 years old, and the tires have had held air for 3 years. I figured I should keep it as original as possible. |
