Custom built Nickle Chromium tube frame. Vehicle was extensively lightened for highschool EV racing (though never raced) including removing inner fenderwells and a 3' wide chunk of the bed was replaced with aluminum. Battery boxes were originally made to be swappable, but the last owner welded them in place. Even though it looks like it's jacked up, there is only about 7" to 8" of ground clearance, the body is raised up on the frame to make room for the batteries mounted below the cab and front half of the bed. |
