Motor Caterpillar Series Wound DC
This motor only has 4 brushes and we found
that out after we bought it. We thought we
might have current and heat issues due to
it, but our car never seems to have any
problems.
DrivetrainOriginal 5 speed with clutch
ControllerLogisystems 144v 750A
Blemished controller model. The
controller is pretty decent, we have
gotten it to 500amps on fresh batteries
with the controller at full settings.
We had some potentiometer problems in
our controller and we had to send it
back, it was a hassle. They wanted to
charge us 150$ to replace 3
potentiometers. We ended up not having
to pay. The fans on this controller are
pointless they do absolutely nothing,
along with the heatsink being poorly
designed. I don't think it was a
horrible choice to buy this one, as it
is reasonably priced (when buying
blemished), but not the best controller
around. I would rather have one with a
computer interface.
Batteries12 Generic Marine Deep Cycle, 12.00 Volt, Lead-Acid, Flooded
These batteries have a 140Ah 20hr rating,
but we get no where near that
System Voltage144 Volts
ChargerZivan
144v output, 90-240vac input, charges
slightly faster depending on input
voltage. (about 8amps at 120v input)
Heater144v 8amp electric heater core. We have
turned this on and tested it letting it
warm up for 3-5min and we felt no heat,
haven't tried it recently, but I do
know that our current meter shows 8
more amps being used when we turn it
on, so it is wired correctly.

We have two of these in parallel to
handle the current draws. They are
"charging" our accessory battery. But
these only output a flat 12v and don't
bring our battery to a full charge. We
usually have to charge the accessory
battery every few runs.
InstrumentationAmp(1000) and Volt(200) meter in center
console. They are from Asia Engineer.

I have seen a cycle analyst and would
really like to get one now because we
could find out so much more data about
our car's efficiency.
