Heater | None yet...either hot water or ceramic...it is Chicago.
DC/DC Converter | Iota | ||||||||
Instrumentation | Volt Meter, Ammeter, Speedometer
Top Speed | 75 MPH (120 KPH) Fastest I have needed to go.
Acceleration | Too good. Still working out the bugs with the controller ramp and the Pot Box. I am going to replace the Curtis Pot Box with a Logisystems one that has a logarithmic scale of resistance. THIS FIXED THE PROBLEM! Make sure NOT to use a Curtis Pot Box with a logisystems controller.
Range | 50 Miles (80 Kilometers) So far I have only gone 50 miles on a single charge. Combination of 50% expressway and 50% stop and go city driving. Average speed about 45MPH, Fastest 75MPH. Finished voltage of 143.5V = about 35% SOC.
Watt Hours/Mile | 524 Wh/Mile Draws about 200 amps at 55 MPH at 144V on level ground. So that's 144 x 200 / 55 = 524 WHr/Mile I think...
EV Miles |
| ||||||||
Seating Capacity | 2 adults....or 2 adults and 3 VERY small kids. The jumps seats in the back are not exactly safe for anyone, but only a small child fits...without a car seat...it's really not safe for anyone to travel in the back...
Curb Weight | 4,200 Pounds (1,909 Kilograms) Just a guess...
Tires | Basic steel belted radials.
Conversion Time | Bought mostly converted. I have about 20 hours into it myself so far.
Conversion Cost | $12,400 so far...
I installed a "Blue Window" electronic dash and promptly blew it up. My fault entirely....don't ask. I loved it while it worked. I am in the process of sending my unit back for repair. I am looking at doing a complete electronic dash. Digital everything, scrap the original gauge cluster completely and have a 10 inch LCD dash built into the dash. |
