The car is used for local shopping and running around. Most of the driving is under 40 mph. The car performs very well for this type of utilization. I do occasionally take it out into 55 mph traffic and it does fine with reduced range to about 15 miles. I have had the WalMart Maxx 29 batteries installed for about a year now with 700 miles on them and probably cycled about 60 times. They still seem as strong as when I bought them although they did not perform very well in weather below 40 and 50 degrees F. Update on 5/11/2010- I am still driving the car with the WalMart Maxx29 batteries. They are beginning to show signs of weakness with max range of about 15 miles. However; this is adequate for my needs so will continue to use them. The car is used mostly under 40mph in stop and go traffic. Nothing has failed. This has turned out to be a very reliable car. |
