Additional Features | The Trimuter was designed by Robert Q Riley of Scottsdale AZ and first appeared for home building in the February 1980 issue of Mechanix Illustrated. This Trimuter was originally built by James A Beck back in 1982/83. I purchased it in March 2004. I spent from 2005 to 2008 doing a complete tear down and rebuild, this included every part, nut and bolt being taken off and re-furbished or replaced. The body is hand-laid fiberglass over foam board. The fiberglass work is excellent with every line straight as an arrow. In my opinion this is the best Trimuter I have every seen on the net or E-bay. The workmanship is top notch and of excellent quality. The 13 VDC control voltage is totally isolated from the pack voltage for safety. This has been a fun project, I completed it in the fall of 2008 and sold it in the fall of 2009 to a guy in Key West FL. | ||||||
