This is the home built project last summer my son and I use 3/4" square tubing and a Binder and wire feed welder. With the golf cart motor designed for 36 volts we added an extra battery to run on 48 volts. Top speed is 40 miles in our. Control is done with three switches, first we run the batteries in parallel for 24 volts then in series for 48 volts. |
