Started with a ME0201013101 PMSM brushless motor at 36V with a Sevcon controller. Not powerful enough.... Upgraded to Kelly KBL series controller with 350A peak current (150 continuous A rating) with a 48V battery pack and lost top speed relative to the Sevcon at 36V. Finally I gave up on the brushless motor and I am going brushed DC with 500A peak. :-) |
