The singe wheel trailer is great (Available Bike Nashbar, Nashbar.com) . It's about as narrow as the bike and therefore doesn't limit route choices like wider trailers do. It doesn't interfere with the cargo baskets! With extended range batteries permanently mounted to the trailer no range reduction results from towing it. The batteries are mounted under the longitudinal rotation axis of the trailer making it more stable than it would be without them. Without additional cargo you don't know it is back there while riding. The bike is capable of carrying nothing but batteries for over 60 miles of maximum range towing the single wheel trailer (in go far mode). With all three extended range battery packs connected total capacity aboard is 102 AH at 24 volts (2,448 WH) |
